Jim Moore: Northern Ireland social media star Onlyslaggin to launch debut barbecue cookbook
Northern Ireland social media cooking sensation Jim Moore – aka Onlyslaggin – is getting ready to launch his first cookbook.
Content creator Jim, who is from Newtownabbey, is well known for sharing his mouth-watering barbecue recipes.
With a huge online following of more than 1.7 million, he is recognised as one the most respected figures in the barbecue scene.
It’s particularly apt therefore, that his debut book is simply titled ‘How to BBQ Everything’.
The book is due for release on Thursday, March 26 and is packed full of recipes for every level of barbecue enthusiast alongside handy guides for the more technical elements needed to cook outdoors.
From basic fire-building, grill zones and simple techniques, to fool-proof marinades, zesty salads, flame-kissed sides and show-stopping feasts, this book has everything needed for the 2026 barbecue season.
Jim said ‘How to BBQ Everything’ brings together years of cooking, travel and storytelling into one book.
"It captures the way I love to cook: taking ideas from the places I’ve travelled, adapting them to the BBQ and keeping it fun, accessible and full of flavour, whether you’re cooking in the garden, at the beach or on the road,” he said.
"BBQ for me has always been about friendship, good food and fun times. This book celebrates that spirit while also giving people the tools to BBQ better and enjoy doing it.
