Kells and Connor WI back after summer break

MEMBERS of Kells and Connor WI were welcomed back after the summer break at their September meeting by president, Marie Mewha.

Alison Kirk and friends from Ballyboley showed the gathering different scrapbooks. Alison has her own craft studio in a converted barn for scrap booking and card making and she encouraged Institute members to each make their own photograph collage depicting different things from family, flowers to animals.

Kathleen Johnston gave a vote of thanks to Alison and her helpers.

Following business, two new members - Marbeth Foster and Jean Park - were introduced and Joanna Warwick a past member was welcomed back.

Results of the competition were - 1st Marjorie McDowell, 2nd Molly Allison and 3rd Ruby McSevenny.
