The survey is being carried out by Equip, which is supported through The Executive Office’s Communities in Transition programme and is managed by Intercomm.

In a statement, Equip explained: “This survey is designed to provide you with an opportunity to identify important community safety issues in your area.

“The results of the survey will be used to support Equip Safer Communities to work with local community and voluntary organisations to develop projects that can improve community safety. The survey is anonymous.”

Equip works in communities in Carrickfergus and Larne targeted by Communities in Transition.

A conflict transformation project, Intercomm – Carrickfergus has been supporting the development of community unity across estates in the town and surrounding area. It is funded through the International Fund for Ireland’s Peace Impact Programme.
