The group’s combined backgrounds have fed into a decade of touring gigs and collaborations with acclaimed artists from such bands as Orbital, The Prodigy, and Happy Mondays.

As with their previous projects, ‘No Borders’ was recorded remotely while all the players were in isolation.

“The band are split across the globe so we’re not constricted by borders - a bit like the virus we are dealing with at the moment,” said Jonny.

Appropriately enough, the track was the result of an international creative effort. “I laid down some drums and a few synths and sent it over to Mike and Nick in New York as we normally would. They added trumpet, trombone, guitar, rhodes and upright bass,” said Jonny. “Sean added some more synths, then I arranged it and sent it to Howie B, where he added marimba and sub bass.”

No Borders will be released this Friday, June 26. It can be purchased at pussyfootrecords.bandcamp.com
