While coronavirus restrictions mean the annual meeting with members of the RAFA Larne Branch and Air Cadets will not go ahead as in previous years, the Mayor of Mid and East Antrim, Councillor Peter Johnston, said he continues to offer his backing to the organisation for its great work in the borough.

Cllr Johnston said: “Unfortunately the ongoing pandemic means I have not been able to welcome the RAFA Larne Branch and Air Cadets to the mayor’s parlour, but I would like to assure everyone associated with the organisation of my full support.

“The RAFA does so much important and valuable work within our community throughout the year, and I look forward to the time when we will be able to come together again.”
