Larne match off after pitch inspection

Tonight’s Danske Bank Premiership tie between Portadown and Larne FC has been called off following a pitch inspection this afternoon.

The pitch inspection was held at 3pm.

Confirming the move on social media, a spokesperson for Larne FC said: “Tonight’s game against Portadown FC at Shamrock Park has been postponed.”

A new date for the game is yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, Carrick’s match against Coleraine survived a pitch inspection at 4pm.

A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Football League said: “Carrick Rangers v Coleraine FC in the Danske Bank Premiership is on following a pitch inspection this afternoon (kick-off: 7.45pm).

The Carrick Times reported on February 3 that the re-arranged Danske Bank Premiership match between Warrenpoint Town and Carrick Rangers was called off following a pitch inspection.
