Last call for Junior Sports Awards nominees

LOCAL sports clubs and sports people are reminded that the closing date for submitting nomination forms to the Banbridge District Junior Sports Awards 2010 is 5pm on Friday April 8.

If you know of any individual or group of individuals aged 17 and under that you think deserve an award for excelling in their chosen sport, why don’t you tell us about them and their achievements?

There will be five categories of awardees including Female Youth, Male Youth, Junior Team (under 12), Youth Team (12 and over) and Special Olympians.

Nominations forms are available from several local outlets, including the Civic Building, Banbridge Leisure Centre, Rathfriland Community Centre, Dromore Community Centre and Donaghy’s Shoefair Sports.

Alternatively, the nomination form can be downloaded from the Council website located at www.banbridge.gov.uk.

All completed forms must be returned to Banbridge District Sports Association at the Civic Building before the closing date.
