Like father, like daughter at Asda Larne

Father’s Day allows you to make a fuss over the father figure in your life and for one Asda Larne colleague, Ellie Preshaw, she will be doing just that by spending some quality time working alongside her dad Alan in the aisles.

Alan Preshaw spoke about his time working alongside his daughter in-store.

He said: “I joined the Asda Team back in 2009 when I worked for Asda Ballyclare, then I moved to Larne in 2013 and have worked in the Asda Larne store ever since.

“Ellie has worked alongside me for the last two years and I’m sure she loves every second of it!”

Ellie talked about spending quality time with her dad in-store.

She explained: “I think the best thing about working with my dad is that he buys all the treats at lunchtime! Since the Covid-19 outbreak, he’s been wearing happy socks to cheer everyone up – I’m not sure how I feel about them but it’s nice to see him bring a smile to people’s faces!”
