Pupils at Linn Primary School have helped spread a little festive cheer by taking part in ‘bling your bike’ day.

Pupils at Linn PS took part in a festive 'Bling your bike' day as part of an active travel initiative.

The special event on Friday, November 27 was held in partnership with the Sustrans Active Travel Plan and the Public Health Agency.

“The children had to decorate their bikes or scooters with a Christmas theme and completed indoor and outdoor activities to help learn about road safety, cycling and to try to encourage more children to bike,scoot or walk to school,” said Louise Lindsay, P3 teacher and Eco Schools Coordinator at Linn PS.

“The children thoroughly enjoyed the day and were very enthusiastic throughout.”
