Man dies after scrambler crash

The rider of a scrambler motorbike has died in the Mid Ulster area.

Police confirmed that a man in his 20s has died following a collision on the Castledawson Road in Magherafelt.

He was the rider of a scrambler involved in a crash at around 4pm yesterday (Saturday, August 13).

Police are investigating the circumstances of the collision and are asking witnesses or anyone who may have captured dashcam footage to please get in touch by calling 101, quoting reference 1299 13/08/22.
