Lucy and Barry Johnston tied the knot at the Clandeboye Lodge Hotel in Bangor on November 7 2020.
The pair, who got engaged on November 25 2018, had hoped to celebrate their special day with over 100 guests, but due to Covid-19 restrictions, they had a more intimate gathering with 25 people in attendance.

“We stuck with our original date and had the most amazing day. We were able to be joined by 25 family members at the ceremony and streamed it online via Zoom for other guests to watch.
“Our families surprised us with an amazing confetti drive by outside Clandeboye and after this we went Crawfordsburn, where our relatives had set up a lovely gazebo and my uncles, who run Brors Deli in Belfast, provided a take away three-course meal.
“It was honestly better than what we could have imagined. It was so relaxed and we had all the small details from the big day we would have had.”

“We managed to cut our cake, do the speeches and have our first dance before heading off to a lovely honeymoon in Portrush arranged by our families.
“We were due to go to Lanzarote on November 12, but we have moved it to April so hopefully if everything is safe and well we can enjoy it then.”
