The event was attended by 14 competitors, equalling their last event and making it the joint largest Infinity tournament on the Island of Ireland to date.
Infinity is a 28mm miniature table top game made by Corvus Belli, a company based in Spain.
It has been increasing in popularity at the Mid Ulster club, so one of its members who plays it, Paul Young, decided to run tournaments in this game with the help of local Warcors Sean Mooney and Killian McKeever.
The tournament was attended by competitors from all over Ireland, including several from Co Meath and Dublin.
The competition was tough, but James McShane claimed first place with his Onyx Contact Force faction.
The club would like to thank the National Lottery Community Fund for their grant that helped to fund the event, Paul Young for organising the event, being the MC and putting in a gargantuan effort in providing a back story, clues, objectives, printing terrain and losing far more sleep over this than anyone else!
He also provided most of the generous prize pot for everyone to enjoy. Thanks also to Sean Mooney for providing support and keeping the scoring during the event, and Killian McKeever for his help and advice.
Sean and Killian are Warcors for Corvus Belli, who volunteer their time freely to run events and offer support for people interested in the games Corvus Belli produce.
With the second success Infinity Tournament under their belts the club are hoping to run another event in the near future.
