A dedicated information page has also gone live on the Council website, where details about what is planned within the borough will be announced over the coming weeks and months.

Preparatory work is continuing on finding ways to celebrate the rich sporting, cultural, entrepreneurial and academic talent throughout Mid and East Antrim, on the 100th anniversary of Northern Ireland.

While challenges remain around the exact format of events in light of ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, there will still be numerous opportunities for the local community to celebrate.
