This year, the Drop Inn Christmas Shoe Box Appeal will be using Turkington's in Portadown as a drop zone for shoe boxes aimed at bringing a smile to those children less fortunate in Eastern Europe and Africa.

"Every year the appeal sends thousands of gift-filled shoeboxes to children in Eastern Europe and Africa, sharing a little joy and excitement with children who live in circumstances where gifts can be in short supply.”

Organised by Team Hope, an Irish, Christian and child-focused international development organisation, it is hoped that people, families and communities can help build a gift-filled shoe box to send to children in various parts of the world and put a smile on children’s faces this Christmas.
