Portrush set for a TREEmendous Christmas switch-on event
Put the date in your diary – Saturday, December 6 will see a TREEmendous Christmas event in Portrush!
Portrush Yacht Club in association with Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council have put together a ‘cracker’ event which will see the seaside town light up for Christmas.
A giant Christmas tree has been sourced and, with the help of Mrs Claus and her team, it has been dressed and decorated ready for the big night.
An early evening list of guests providing a fabulous seasonal soundtrack includes Coastal Vocals, the Causeway Shantymen and the amazing Portrush Theatre Company’s Kids Chorus live on stage with Mrs Claus and friends.
There will also be a Kids Christmas Disco Dance-along, Festive Face Painting, Katy’s glittering Kids Ink and North Coast Christmas Circus School.
The event will be compered by Portmagic’s Alan Simpson and it all kicks off at 4.30pm at Portrush Harbour. All welcome!
