PSNI Chief Constable visits Carrickfergus

Chief Constable Simon Byrne visited Carrickfergus on Tuesday, December 17 to meet the new Neoghbourhood Policing Team.

Simon Byrne paid a visit to Carrick Connect.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “He took a beat around the town, called to see the folks who manage our fleet and then rounded off the day by having coffee with the cops.

“The Chief Constable enjoyed visiting Carrick Connect to see the work they are doing to help young people in the area.”

Commenting on the visit, a spokesperson for Carrick Connect said: “We feel very privileged he took time to listen to us and hear about all our services.”
