Public invited to pay respects to farmer Andrew Abraham as funeral cortege passes

People have been urged to pay their respects to tragic Co Down farmer Andrew Abraham today as his funeral cortege leave the family home this afternoon.

Mr Abraham (46), who died in a farming accident in Co Antrim on Thursday, will be buried in Blackskull.

Those wishing to pay their respects to the father-of-four can do as the cortege leaves Andrew’s home at 36 Banbridge Road, Waringstown today at 2.30pm.

The cortege will travel up the Burnhill, arriving at Blackskull Methodist burial ground for approximately 3.30pm.

A funeral notice on Funeral Times says Andrew was the “beloved husband of Alison, devoted daddy of Jacsen, Brooke, Carter and Farrah, loving son of John and Eleanor and loving brother of Karen, Heather and Lyn”.

Donations if desired may be made for Bethany Free Presbyterian Church Sunday School, C/o Ronnie Russell Funeral Director, 59 Waringstown Road, Lurgan, BT66 7HH.

The house and funeral will be private in accordance with current government guidelines.
