Winning club of the year is a massive achievement and this reward is celebrated by all members of Randalstown YFC for the exceptional work they have done to achieve this prestigious award over the last 12 months.

The YFCU would like to show appreciation to all Young Farmer’s Clubs across Northern Ireland for the excellent work they have done during the Covid-19 pandemic to keep clubs running smoothly and taking up the challenge to stay connected through virtual communication.

All presentations were excellent but Randalstown YFC presented a brilliant guide with exciting strategies for club recruitment, retention and social media. The YFCU is delighted that Power NI is continuing to support the club of the year competition which sees clubs compete in six stages covering areas such as club accounts, recruitment and retention, community work and best practice for club management.

Seven clubs who made it through to the final stage were asked to deliver a presentation on ‘Our Club, Our Future’ before the winner was announced at the YFCU AGM via Zoom.

Commenting on the competition, Amy Bennington, PowerNI, said: “Congratulations to this year’s winning club, Randalstown YFC.
