The works, which will extend for a distance of approx. 0.55 kilometres, are scheduled to begin at Kilraughts Road Roundabout on November 8.

Cr Reid said: “While every effort has been made to ensure the work causes as little inconvenience as possible, I would urge everyone using the road over the next few weeks to be mindful of diversions and to follow the instructions in place at all times. The work is scheduled to be completed in a matter of weeks and I would also ask people to show patience during this period. This latest announcement from SDLP Minister Mallon follows a string of similar schemes which show her commitment to improving road safety.”
