The sanitizer stations, which have been supplied by Mallusk-based company, Torax, are located in Antrim, Ballyclare, Crumlin, Glengormley and Randalstown.

Made from stainless steel and operated by foot or hand, the highly visible units will help keep the public safe when shopping or running their businesses.

Local traders are supporting the scheme by hosting and supervising the on-street units for free use by the public.
