Santa Float to visit Carrickfergus this weekend

The ‘Santa Float’ will be heading through the town on Sunday, December 20 from 5-8pm.

Although it will not be possible to visit every estate in the town due to the size of the float and the time frame, the route will include Greenisland Working Mens Social Club car park, Glenfield, Oakfield Drive, Castlemara Drive, Drumhoy Drive, Sunnylands Community Centre, Sunnylands Avenue, Pinewood Avenue, Bingo Hall car park, and Woodburn Avenue.

Free gifts will be given out by Santa and his helpers along the route, with a light show and music from DJ Mark Dobbin.

Spectators are asked to please adhere to all social distancing guidelines and to not follow the float.
