BANBRIDGE Musical Society are back in action with lots of exciting plans over the next few months!

And they would love the local community to get involved, as rehearsals begin for their highly anticipated concert.

This year, the society are performing two concerts with the theme ‘Movie Musicals’. The first concert highlights the junior talent through a selection of songs and dances from well-loved movies. The second concert is for adults with a few junior songs sprinkled throughout.

The society would welcome any new adult members to come along to rehearsals on Wednesday evenings at Abercorn Primary School at 7.30pm.

The juniors will be rehearsing on a Saturday afternoon, so please get in contact for more details if you’re interested.

The society have also started planning for their next musical ‘Sister Act’.

Full of powerful gospel music and lots of laughs, they are very excited to start rehearsals. Auditions are taking place on Monday, September 30 at 6pm in Abercorn Primary School. However, don’t worry, no auditions are required to join the chorus of fun-loving nuns!

So, if you want to take up a new hobby, have fun singing with others and meet interesting people from all walks of life, then ‘raise your voice’ and come along to rehearsals.
