A PSNI spokesperson said they would like to thank the “two very honest young people” who found and handed in the cash to a shop on High Street, Portadown around January 18.
Police are now seeking whoever may have lost the money to come forward.
“Have you lost money in the area? If you believe this may belong to you, please contact police on 101 quoting reference 485 of 21/01/22,” said the spokesperson.
