VIDEO: New Year's Day dippers 'brrr-ave' the waves in aid of Community Rescue Service

Benone Strand was the venue for a fundraising New Year’s Day dip with The Seacoast Dippers.

Community Rescue Service said: “What a great start to 2026 on Benone Beach with The Seacoast Dippers and all the lovely crazy people who joined us. The atmosphere was brilliant, hot drinks were flowing and lots of laughter.

"Thank you to our volunteers who joined the sea party and kept a close eye on everyone. The Community Rescue Service are 100% volunteers who are on call 24/7 365 days per year, it is with the support of our local community that we can continue this valuable work.”
