“Like all of our village renewal schemes, these works aim to enhance facilities for the benefit of the whole community and it’s great to see the project in Pomeroy completed and, with it, the recreational offering in the village extended.

“Our thanks once again go to the Local Action Group of Mid Ulster Rural Development Partnership and DAERA for the on-going investment in Mid Ulster”.

The Chair of Mid Ulster Rural Development Partnership, Conor Corr, commented: “The LAG’s Village Renewal Scheme has provided much needed funding to improve recreational infrastructure within rural towns and villages across the district. It’s so important that people have access to good local facilities to encourage them to stay active and get outdoors so it’s great to see these types of projects on the ground”.
