The Mayor of Mid and East Antrim, Councillor Peter Johnston, said: “At the moment it’s so important that we maintain access to arts and culture in our borough.

“Arts and Culture plays a vital part in terms of our health and wellbeing. It has been great to see how some of our citizens have adapted to the situation with doorstep photography, virtual choirs, murals and rainbow art and many more activities and projects.

“From virtual museum tours, exhibitions to music performances, art demos and activities to keep the kids entertained there will be something for everyone. Through our virtual platforms, we will maintain a vibrant arts and culture service, which will no doubt bring some light to the current times.”

The programme started today with ‘Treasures from Home’ with the Museum service outlining how you can explore your roots.
