Petrol bomb attack 'completely unacceptable'

The attack happened just after midnight in the early hours of Friday at Parkview Close.

The PSNI said they are trying to establish a motive and would like to hear from anyone who may have noticed suspicious activity or anyone on foot or in a vehicle in the area between 11.30pm and 12.30am.

A police spokesman said: "This family has lived there a considerable number of years. This was a despicable attack and there was considerable damage and this could have spread to the family home.

"That area is normally quiet and this was completely unacceptable that people can take it upon themselves to attack property in this manner."
