Petrol bomb thrown at house in Carnany estate

Police are investigating after a petrol bomb was thrown at a house in the Carnany Park area of Ballymoney in the early hours of Tuesday 19 November. The device caused minor scorch damage to a front door but no one was injured. Police are appealing for any anyone with any information to come forward.

In other police news Police are investigating a report of criminal damage caused to a building in the Newal Road area of Ballymoney across the weekend of 15-17 November. It is thought that pool balls were used to smash four windows during the incident.

Police received the report of a burglary in the Carnfinton Park area of Rasharkin. The home owner returned home after 5pm on Wednesday last to discover a bedroom window smashed and an iPad taken from inside. Police are appealing for information and ask that anyone offered electronic goods in suspicious circumstances in the run up to Christmas contact police immediately.

Police are dealing with the suspected theft of 150 litres of diesel from a site on the Frosses Road between 5pm and 11pm on Wednesday 20 November. A generator was also taken during the same incident.
