It’s panto time again and on Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 December the UK’s fastest growing theatre producers, The Panto Company return to Ballymoney Town Hall with their hit show Sleeping Beauty – a Christmas classic packed with music, dance and traditional panto fun!

King Humphrey and Queen Bea are so delighted at the birth of their daughter, Aurora, that they throw the biggest party the kingdom has ever seen! However, when they forget to invite the land’s most powerful sorceress, Vestra, their happiness soon turns sour.

Vestra casts a spell on the baby, proclaiming that on her 18th birthday, she will prick her finger on a spinning wheel and die!

The spell is so strong that the comical Fairy Nuff can only reduce its power by declaring that Aurora will fall asleep for 100 years.

But how will she be woken?

Join Giggles the Jester and his friends for this magical tale!

Performances take place at 7.30pm in Ballymoney Town Hall.

The show is suitable for 3 years and upwards.

All tickets are £5 (reserved seating) available from Ballymoney Town Hall 028 2766 0230. A 10% discount is available for groups of 10 people and over.

The show is promoted by Ballymoney Borough Arts Committee.

This December Ballymoney Borough Arts Committee is pleased to host a superb photographic exhibition by the Northern Ireland Photographic Association (NIPA).

NIPA is the organising body for almost 30 camera clubs in NI including Ballymoney Photographic Club. Together with 14 other similar regional federations, it forms the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB), the national organising body in the UK.

This annual exhibition showcases the best of their work and was selected in February 2013 by Peter Cheetham APAGB, outgoing president of the PAGB. It features a wonderful variety of subjects in both monochrome and colour including portraits, landscapes and seascapes, nature, sport, still life, architecture, humour and many others.

PAGB accorded patronage to the exhibition and the prestigious PAGB gold, silver and bronze medals were awarded to the authors of the top three placed photographs in the monochrome and colour sections.

Admission is free. The Museum is located in Ballymoney Town Hall, 1 Townhead Street, Ballymoney Tel 028 2766 0230.
