Although the numbers were down on the day, it proved to be a very successful match. The picturesque setting of the Causeway Coast and the quality of the land meant a very enjoyable day for all.

Thanks must go to Sir Malcolm Macnaghter and staff for allowing the use of the excellent site and also to the PSNI for traffic control and Moyle District Council for the use of the toilets.

Organisers would also like to thank the sponsors for their financial help and the judges on the day - WL McMiller, W King, Des Wright, G Murphy, W Hood, H Simms, J McCracken, J Sloan and D Percy who gave of their time and expertise.

Special appreciation goes to the ladies who supplied the refreshments to the ploughmen, judges and spectators.
