PICTURE GALLERY: £1,300 raised at Dunlop event

The magnificent sum of 1,300 was raised, testimony once again to the ability and generosity from the folk from the Toon when times are tough, just proving their commitment and determination to see the sum required for Robert's sculpture reach fruition.

Robert's committee and family wish to place on record their thanks to the owners and staff of the Imperial Bar for all their help and assistance on Friday night.

Forthcoming events for your diary in aid of the Robert Dunlop Memorial Sculpture Fund are:

A special chat show will be held at Coleraine FC on Tuesday 23 February in order to raise funds for the Robert Dunlop Memorial Sculpture Fund.

A number of motorbike riders will be in attendance, joined on the night by Jackie Fullerton, Liam Beckett and others. The event starts at 7.30pm.

A corporate dinner and auction May Ball will take place at the Lodge Hotel, Coleraine on Thursday 6 May.

The reception starts at 7.30pm with an 8pm start.

This will be a black tie event, tickets are 45 each. Tables of 10 are priced at 450. Some collectors items will be auctioned.

Meanwhile, anyone wishing to take part in the Robert Dunlop Golf Day at Portstewart Golf Club is urged to contact the organisers as soon as possible as there are very few places remaining.

The event is planned to take place on Wednesday 12 May.

A number of sporting, radio and television stars are set to attend including former Rangers star Andy Goram. Cost is 45 each or 180 per four ball. This price includes green fees and food.
