The Pipe Band Championships held recently in Ballymoney were a big success, DUP councillor John Finlay said.
He said it had proved an excellent event attracting a large number of visitors and a shuttle bus had been of benefit to bring people into Ballymoney town centre.
Cllr Finlay said Ballymoney Agricultural Show was also on the same day and it too attracted many people to the town.
