PIPS benefit from Charity Summer League success

THE Charity Summer League has this year raised £11,570 for PIPS in its cross community fundraising efforts.

The league, based at Lord Lurgan Memorial Park, branched out this year and as well as holding a football tournament, they also put on a successful fight night at the INF Club.

They thanked the Phoenix Boxing Club for the use of their facilities and training of the boxers.

The Charity Summer League has raised over £100,000 for local and national charity organisations.

The league thanked all its members over the years for their support as well as all the committee members, players past and present, managers, local businesses, pubs and clubs.
