Placed on probation following incident

Peadar Nash, Conor Park, Lurgan, admitted a charge of disorderly behaviour on March 16 this year.

The case had been adjourned from a previous court so that a short sentence report could be obtained.

The court heard that a police patrol saw two males squaring up to each other. Later they again saw Nash squaring up to the same male.

Nash then shouted abusive language towards the police.

District Judge, Mr Mervyn Bates, said that the report indicated that probation was the way forward in this case.
