Places left on Ballycastle calligraphy course

Organised by Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, it takes place on Saturday, November 26th.

This is a perfect opportunity to try the beautiful art of calligraphy – a form of stylised writing for special occasions.

The Council’s Arts Officer said: “This full-day calligraphy workshop is open to beginners as well as those with some experience and everyone is welcome to come along. Participants will learn simple inscriptions and create unique, vintage style, personalised Christmas gift tags, bookmarks and more. We are delighted to offer this new workshop in Ballycastle this year and hope that lots of people will come along and get creative.”

The workshop will be held in Sheskburn House from 10am - 3.30pm and costs £10.

It will be led by experienced writing tutor and artistic calligrapher Betty Ward. No previous experience is necessary.
