'DO You Have a Fire Escape Plan?'
The question is posed by the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service to Carrick householders during North South Fire Safety Week.
Peter Craig, Acting Chief Fire Officer, NIFRS, explains: “Having a Fire Escape Plan is just one part of our four piece jigsaw aimed at keeping people safe from fire in the home. The other three pieces are; having a working smoke alarm, being aware of the main causes of fire and knowing what do it in the event of a fire.”
