Planners minded to reject wind turbine
The Planning Service has indicated its intention to reject a planning application for a wind turbine in Ravernet.
The application was met with local concern, with 72 letters of objection being lodged with the Planners objecting to the 50 metre high electricity generating wind turbine on the Ravernet Road. The application by Reforce Energy Ltdwas brought before the Planning Committee of Lisburn City Council with a view to reject the proposal.
However, at the request of committee members, the Planning Officer agreed to hold the issuing of the determination for a further five days.
