Planning application in Broughshane is postponed

A PLANNING application for 15 departments in Broughshane has been pulled from the planning schedule to allow the applicant to enter an amended design.

At last Thursday night’s Public Sector Liaison Committee meeting, members heard the application for 15 apartments to be built at the re-development of 1-3 Fir Park, was pulled from the schedule.

Councillor Paul Frew said the area already has to deal with traffic problems, he said: “There are double yellow lines but people choose to ignore them, and this brings the road down.
