Plans for new nursery unit
PLANS are gathering speed to get an additional nursery unit at Lurgan Model.
A draft proposal has been put forward by the SELB to establish a second nursery unit at the school which would increase the enrolment to 52 full time places.
The proposal includes statistics using census birth data which show there is a deficit of 28 places in the Woodville ward where Lurgan Model is situated.
The plans were discussed at an SELB meeting in December when it was decided to progress to consultation stage with the proposal.
