Plans for new retailer in Waterside

PLANS have been lodged for a new bulky goods retail unit in the Waterside.

Planners have received an application for the new unit at lands adjacent to 31 Glendermott Road.

Elsewhere a proposal to knock down a dwelling at 1 Drumahoe Road and build a number of apartments in its place is also being considered by the Planning Service.

The plan is to demolish the existing property at Altnagelvin and to erect six apartments in a three storey building (plus basement parking) and associated works.

In the cityside an application has been lodged to extend a pharmacy at the Da Vinci's Complex on the Culmore Road to include a new path to the rear bin store with retaining structure to the existing footpath and road and two new car parking spaces.
