A spokesperson for SRC said plans are currently being prepared and public consultation will take place over the coming weeks.

She said both Armagh and Banbridge existing campuses will remain live and fully operational during the construction period, with all three campuses expected to be completed early in 2020.

WYG Management Services have been appointed to bring forward the designs of the new builds, lead the planning process and help in the procurement of the main contractors.

The spokesperson added, “The goal is to deliver state-of-the-art, fit-for-purpose accommodation to meet the needs of students and staff and to provide facilities to develop and respond to the emerging needs of employers and the wider economic drivers within our region.
