Plans lodged to transform Building 71 in Ebrington

ILEX have applied for permission to transform Building 71 at Ebrington Barracks into an office building.

An application has been lodged with the local planning office to provide office accommodation to all floors of existing building.

Ilex have also applied for a minor alteration to the front door to assist with level access provision and also for “internal redecoration and minor works to provide office accommodation” and for “minor repairs to building fabric and finishes.”

The new building will contain a number of offices, a conference room, a protected hallway, a kitchenette as well as storage and a boiler room.

Replacement plasterboard ceilings will also be used to provide 30mins fire resistance to the rooms.
