Plenty of glamour on show at Mossvale fundraising event

AS part of their fundraising efforts, Mossvale Arena Party hosted an exclusive evening of vintage glamour and retro fun, on Tuesday April 3 in the opulent surroundings of the Belmont Hotel.

In a bid to raise funds for local volunteers from the Mossvale Arena Party to participate in the 2012 Olympics, they enlisted the services of Old Tea Rose Antiques and Vintage Wear to help showcase a Cat Walk demonstration of 40’s/50’s/60’s/70’s & 80’s authentic vintage clothing and accessories.

Over 200 patrons were transferred back to the eras of classic chic boutique, featuring vibrant and eclectic fashion from time gone by. Garments from the fabulous 40s, flirty 50’s, swinging 60s, right up to the 80s were put on show with a fantastic mix of furs, accessories, handbags, shoes, day dresses and sparkly evening gowns all modelled by local volunteers.
