Police appeal after assault on two men
Police in Banbridge are appealing for information following an assault on Newry Street.
Constable Jay Morrison explained: “Around 1.10am on Sunday, 27 September, two 32 year old males were walking close to the Downshire Hotel when they were assaulted by two men. One of the victims was punched to face and sustained an injury to his nose. The assailants are believed to have made off in a white Seat Toledo car.
“We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident or has information in relation to this assault on 101, quoting ref: 119 270915.”
