Police appeal after Ballymoney burglarly

POLICE in Ballymoney have appealed for information after machinery worth thousands of pounds was taken during a burglary.

Thieves struck at a property at Townhill Road some time between 8.30am and 11.30am on Wednesday.

A power washer and chainsaw were taken as was a recently purchased ride-on lawnmower costing £3,500.

The lawnmower is a John Deere, model X15JR, and is green and yellow.

The goods were taken after the culprit/s broke their way into an outside building.

A police spokesman urged anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time to contact the PSNI on 0845 600 8000.

He also warned people to be wary should they be offered similar goods to buy or store in the coming weeks.
