Police appeal after house ransacked

At approximately 8.45pm, a mother and daughter were in a house when two masked and gloved men entered and stayed with them in the living room. A number of other persons are then believed to have entered and went through the rest of the house for about 10 or 15 minutes. They stole a sum of money and a quantity of jewellery and are then believed to have made off on foot by the back of the house.

The women were not injured in the incident but were left badly shaken.

Detective Inspector Will Tate said: “I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to contact CID at Lurgan Police Station on the non emergency number 101.
