Police appeal after man is assaulted at Church Square
Police are appealing for information following the report of an assault at Church Square, Banbridge.
The incident took place in the early hours of Thursday 18th February.
It was reported that a 20 year old man was assaulted by a number of assailants at around 1am and suffered a broken hand and bruising to his head and body as a result of the attack.
Police would like to speak with a male passer-by who came to the assistance of the injured man or anyone who may have witnessed the assault.
