Police appeal after petrol bomb attack on Ballymena home

Detectives in Ballymena are appealing for information following the report of a petrol bomb attack on a house in the Barra Drive area of Ballymena on Saturday October 15.

At approximately 3.45am a petrol bomb was thrown at the front window of the house, setting fire to window blinds and a chair.

Extensive smoke damage was caused to the living room.

There was no one present in the house at the time of the incident.

Police would appeal to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area or anyone who has information about this incident to contact Detectives at Reactive and Organised Crime, Ballymena on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 235 15/10/16.
