Police appeal after petrol theft in town

Police in Ballymoney are investigating an incident at a filling station in the Ballybogey Road area of the town.

On Thursday 20th July between 6.20 pm and 6.30 pm a female entered the shop of the filling station whilst a male put petrol in a silver Toyota Corolla. The lady paid for other goods but did not pay for the petrol.

A police spokesperson told the Times: “We are encouraging retailers and members of the public to report any future incidents to police as soon as possible. This could make a difference.”
