Police appeal for information after Dunmurry assault

DETECTIVES in Lisburn are appealing for information after a report of an assault in the Glasvey Gardens area, Dunmurry, on Thursday, February 16.

At approximately 7.45pm it was reported that a 30 year old man was assaulted by approximately 7 men some of whom were carrying hammers. He sustained a broken leg and bruising and cuts to his face. He was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.
